1995 Chevrolet G20 Gladiator Conversion Van

One-owner, 79K miles, and a plush interior are just a few of the highlights on this 1995 Chevrolet G20 Gladiator Conversion Van.

The shark is often referred to as one of the most perfect creatures on earth. The reason is that it has been around for so long and evolves so slowly. You can think of the Chevy G-Series van as the shark of the automotive world. These vans were produced for about 30 years and remained largely the same during the extremely long run. And now one of these nearly perfect vans is crossing the auction block. This 1995 Chevrolet G20 Gladiator conversion van is listed on Bring a Trailer. If you are at all interested in the Rad-era lifestyle, then you need to do whatever it takes to put this beauty in your garage.

Cargo

We will get to the details of this van in a moment, but here are a couple of highlights that make this particular G20 Gladiator conversion van even more appealing. It has only had one owner since new and has a low 79,000 miles on the odometer. It also seems to be in wonderful shape and has been well-cared for. The original window sticker is available and comes with the van. Keeping the window sticker from a special sports car is one thing but you don’t often see it kept on a conversion van. It is a sign that the owner really cared for this beauty.

Plush

Interior

Normally we would begin by talking about the powertrain and other mechanical bits that make a vehicle special. And we will get to that. But come on, look at this plush interior. This thing is a Rad party on wheels. And it appears to be in fantastic shape. Captain’s chairs are throughout and the rear bench folds down to make a cozy sleeping space. There is also a door-mounted bottle opener, a vacuum cleaner, a 10-inch TV, and a VCR to play all of your X-Files tapes. This is an awesome space to hang out.

Exterior Style

G20 Gladiator

Moving to the outside of this 1995 Chevrolet G20 Gladiator you will see that the van is covered in Summit White paint with gray pinstripes. Out back is a spare tire covered in turquoise paint helping to lend to that Rad vibe. There are also large picture windows all around the van that are tinted to offer privacy. The van is also extremely straight which helps to support the fact that this vehicle comes with a clean Carfax report indicating no accidents.

Mechanicals

V8

This van is fitted with the optional 5.7L V8 which is paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Power is routed to the rear wheels only. The van rides on 15-inch alloy wheels. Remember when 15-inch wheels were big? An upgraded 33-gallon gas tank keeps the V8 engine fed. Four-wheel antilock brakes are standard and upfront you will find disc brakes, but out back they are drums. For the safety conscious the van does come with a driver side airbag.

Radwood

G20

The next Radwood event will be held at Laguna Seca on August 19. This van could be yours by then. It is being offered at no reserve and as of this writing the high bid is a reasonable $13,260. Someone is going to be scoring one hell of a G20 Gladiator conversion van. Will it be you?
