Although we came late at night, service was super attentive. Lighting was a bit dark though but overall had a nice vibe.
Dips and spreads (8.5/10): We ordered the hummus, babaganoush, and the spicy feta as our dips. All the dips were high quality, and it came with a lot of pita.
Braised Lamb Shank (8/10): The lamb shank was quite delicious and came with a lot of meat. It was a little gamey, but I enjoy that type of lamb more so it might not be for everyone. The sides, the potatoes and the salad, were both equally delicious.
Whole Grilled Branzino (7.5/10): This was a little on the drier side so I didn't enjoy it as much. Flavors on it were still good though and it came with the same sides as the lamb.
We also ordered some drinks and they were all delicious and paired well with the food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mar 18, 2024
Cocktails were a highlight, and our server was warm and welcoming. The ambiance is laid-back, making it a suitable spot for a casual first date, perhaps at the bar. However, the food fell short of expectations. We shared a few salads and cauliflower, but the main courses were disappointing. My lamb entree was overcooked, lukewarm, and lacking in flavor. My friends' fish fillet and chicken dishes also failed to impress, with an uninspiring taste and texture that suggested a lack of fresh ingredients. Overall, the food was unremarkable and lacked depth, making it a spot best suited for drinks only.

i came here for the happy hour, i was actually very excited to try this place because the location it's just amazing but i was very disappointed on the service, it seems like they don't care about their costumers i was asking my server for recommendations and without listening about what i wanted to said he just start telling me the entire menu acting like he doesn't care.
When i pay my bill he literally wait to see how much i was gonna tip.
He said to one of the costumers he was the manager so if that's the manager i can't even think about the rest of the staff.
Very sad there is better places around williamsburg to go to a happy hour where they are gonna treat you better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 6, 2024
The vibe at Teresa is warm, inviting, candlelit. It's inviting of small gatherings of friends or for date night. I personally would stick to the cocktails and small bites as I wasn't overly impressed by the entrees. They make a solid espresso martini and have a wide array of fun cocktails on the menu. Their appetizers of dips and spreads was good to share. I enjoyed the tzatziki and spicy feta dips. The chicken liver mouse is also nice, though I disliked their choice of bread (it wasn't quite a crisp nor a standard slice of a loaf of bread but more like a pan-made bread with where all the edges are smooth). I unfortunately did not enjoy the salmon. They smother it in sauce, on top of spinach and it makes the skin squishy. The portion was huge, but the taste was overwhelming. I suppose if you love creamy spinach then maybe you'd like the dish more, I just thought that part would be lighter and not the centerpiece. It was also topped with a phylo type dough, which was a fun take that I hadn't eaten but ultimately didn't help enough. Perhaps I'd need to try different menu items next time.

The blonde waiter with the half sleeve of tattoos was very nice. The burger was okay, I liked the bread but found the burger not to have much flavor. The fries were good. The hippie caravan drink was good, nice color, not too sweet, didn't seem too strong, but was refreshing. The ambiance here was fun and festive, and the inside part is dog friendly! They do also have outdoor seating.

I came to Terasa's for a Sunday afternoon brunch with some friends. It surprisingly wasn't too packed and the inside was very nicely decorated with greenery on the walls and ceilings.
My friend and I both got the Smoked Salmon Toast with poached eggs and it was absolutely delicious. I usually am never able to finish a whole meal but I cleared my plate eating this. It was loaded with so much but all the flavors complimented each other well. My other friend got the spinach and cheese Burek and it was perfectly flaky and reminded us of a spanakopita.
Overall a great spot for some Balkan cuisine and I would totally come back to try out their dinner menu!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Clay J.Manhattan, NY02Mar 30, 2024
Subpar food and tiny portions yet very expensive. Also the bathroom was very dirty and full of trash. I rarely give 1 star but feel like I wasted my money and my time. Never again.

Terasa North Ninth, located in Williamsburg, is a contemporary Mediterranean Balkan restaurant. They offer modern renditions of traditional family recipes. We had the Ćevapi, Big Balkan Breakfast, Smoked Salmon Toast, and Avocado Toast (also with Smoked Salmon) and Smoked Salmon Toast. The Ćevapi were excellent and paired nicely with Bosnian somun bread and/or a pair of eggs. Both toasts were delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, was a beautiful venue for a quality meal -- would recommend

Pleasant ambiance, a solid menu, and excellent drinks! Came here on a Friday night and sat outside in a cosy side patio area. We got three dips to start - babaganoush, spicy feta, and kajmak. The babaganoush could have been smokier, we really liked the spicy feta though. My watermelon margarita was full of flavor and would definitely order again. For my entrée, I had a vegetarian pasta, which was pretty good. I would add a couple more vegetarian options to the menu if possible.
