Graham Veysey campaigns in Toledo for second straight weekend

Sun, 26 Feb 2012 03:31:11 GMT — It is just 10 days away from the March 6 primary in Ohio. One of the key contests is the Democratic primary for Ohio's newly configured 9th Congressional District. Due to redistricting the 10th District and the 9th District have been merged. This has triggered a primary battle between long time Democrats Dennis Kucinich of Cleveland and Marcy Kaptur of Toledo. A third contestant in the race is Cleveland businessman Graham Veysey who went door to door in Point Place Saturday afternoon.

"We have people that want a fresh alternative in this race and we are the fresh face as opposed to the two other candidates in this race who have been politicians for a combined 70 years," Mr. Veysey said.

Early voting continues through next week and the primary is Tuesday, March 6. On that day Ohio voters will be also casting votes in the Republican presidential party.
