Growth rate: Moderate, easy to grow.
'Purple Emperor's rich, deep purple succulent foliage forms a solid substantial mass that appears satiny black in sunshine. In late summer, dusty rose flowers appear in large clusters atop the bright reddish-purple stems. Blossoms age gracefully to bronze in the fall.
