Hotel Atlantic Kempinski
In 1997, part of the shooting for the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, starring Pierce Brosnan, took place at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski. A stunt scene showed Pierce Brosnan climbing to the globe on the hotel roof from the Atlantic Suite.
Istanbul has been a star of a few Bond films: The Hagia Sophia (pictured here) appeared in From Russia With Love, and Pierce Brosnan floated down the Golden Horn waterway in_ The World Is Not Enough._ Now in Skyfall, 007 will tear through Istanbul's New Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, and bustling Eminonu Square.
