Yes Malena

Massive and sugary sillage. Soft yet impactful. Billowy, loud, marshmallow with quiet, sweet-tart citrus and whisper of lily/magnolia impression. Sweet musky powdery dry-down.

@Gemsense: Price hike? You can buy it for 27 bucks on ebay, for a 3.4 oz bottle.

Umm why did the price hike up on this so much? Im glad i dont go through this like i do ither scents cuz i wont pay those high prices for this, especially when i bought my full size bottle for 11 dollars. What are they thinking?

Day wear. Teenagers may love it. As with all Animale perfumes you need to let it dry out. My son says he gets hungry with this perfume cause smells like roasted candy. Was a blind bought and loved it.

I blind bought this due to the reviews of it being strong, sweet, and long lasting. Upon first spray I was majorly disappointed because it is identical to pink sugar and I find pink sugar to be plain and boring. I spritzed myself anyways and went about my business... Well, it blends very well with my chemistry! This is sweet, creamy musk and it's very light on me but potent. I like this more than all my pink sugar flankers. It's not as floral as I'd like but it is a desirable scent, like what a garden fairy smells like... Or what strawberry Shortcake's neighborhood smells like. I see the rolling hills of strawberry shortcake land from the old TV show back in the 80s... I love it🤗. I will always keep this in my perfume closet, it's part of my story now.

There aren't a whole lot of reviews to go by, so I decided to put my two cents in. A total blind by for me in an attempt to give my bank account a break from the usual designer brands I've grown addicted to collecting. What a great surprise for me, a sweet and delicious smelling surprise. I get mostly amber, tonka, a touch of sandalwood and delicate flowers. Not much musk to be found here, and thankfully the citrus wears off quickly. The 90's retro bottle of this fragrance didn't bother me a bit, as it did some reviewers of other Animale fragrances. At $15 for 3.4 oz, I didn't expect a heavy glass bottle anyway. I'm sure to give at least 2 of the others a try as well. I'm a little difficult to impress, but this find did exactly that. I've never owned Pink Sugar, but have smelled it, and yup, they are quite similar. The only complaint I have is that it's quite sticky/syrupy feeling, so luckily a small amount goes a long way. Because of this, I'm not sure if it would be suited for hot, humid weather either.
*Longevity & Sillage are excellent too. No buyers remorse.

I'm surprised that there aren't more reviews for Animale Love (A Love) which I recently blind-bought (3.4 oz). You'll definitely get a lot of product for a very reasonable price.

If you like/love sweet scents, A Love is a safe blind-buy. It's uplifting and clean (once it dries down) but given its sweet nature, a light hand is absolutely necessary.

The Lily and Mandarin Orange notes are noticeable/prominent in the opening but dry down fairly quickly. Mandarine orange can be quite loud and migraine-inducing in most fragrances, but not in A Love. The orange note is well-balanced with all the other notes in this fragrance.

Peony, orchid, and gardenia as stand-alone notes can be a hit or miss in any fragrance when not properly balanced with other notes. I've always found orchid and gardenia to be quite loud/off-putting in most perfumes, but again, none of these well-balanced notes are offensive/too loud in A Love.

The base notes (sandalwood, amber, musk, and tonka bean) come out clearly in the dry-down leading to a clean, creamy, soft, and warm scent that I think is appropriate for Spring, Fall, and Winter weather (basically cold/cooler months).

I personally find A-Love too cloying and sickening-sweet in hot day-time weather, hence my preference for using it in cooler weather/nighttime. There are many who will disagree because they wear sweet scents well throughout the year, so just try it and see what works for you.

Those who say that A Love smells like Pink Sugar by Aquolina are spot-on. The notes are very similar, only that Pink Sugar has more of that "burnt sugar" smell (which I grew to love).

I chose to buy A Love over Pink Sugar because I have never liked the cotton candy note that is prominent in Pink Sugar and other body mists/fragrances I smelled. But after smelling A Love, I blind-bought Pink Sugar and love it more than A Love.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I discovered that I cannot spray A Love on my skin. I discovered that A Love makes me break out in a rash wherever I spray it, something I never experienced with any of my other fragrances. So I strictly only spray it on my tops which is fine, because this extends the longevity and sillage.

Since they smell similar, I use A Love on my top and Pink Sugar on my skin.

Bottom line: I love this fragrance and wouldn't hesitate to repurchase it even if I can only spray it on my top since I know I can spray Pink Sugar on my skin and both complement each other.

Smells exactly like Pink Sugar

PinkRainbow

Beautiful and subtle blend of florals and musk, with a slight marshmellow vibe. Very different from the original Animale.
Nice daytime scent.

perfumeglam87

Very nice and sweet for the girly girls out there. This is a beautiful sweet scent. Smells like a sweeter pink sugar. <3
