• Lady Gaga shut down pregnancy rumors on Twitter by saying she's "pregnant" with her sixth solo album.
  • Gaga has so far released five albums—her last one was Joanne in 2017—plus a collaborative album with Tony Bennett and the soundtrack for A Star Is Born.
  • She's previously talked about the upcoming record, and even said A Star Is Born will "influence" the new music.

Lady Gaga took to Twitter last night to set the record straight about the pregnancy rumors surrounding her. The truth is, she's not expecting—but she still did announce some great news.

"Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6," she tweeted last night.

"LG6" is an abbreviation for "Lady Gaga 6," referencing the singer's sixth solo album. As of right now, it's unclear whether the project has a title or a prospective release date, but it's definitely in the works.

Gaga's five solo albums so far are:

Gaga has also released Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett in 2014 and, of course, the A Star Is Born soundtrack last year, but those were both collaborative works with other artists. She's currently working on her Las Vegas residency, called "Enigma," which started in December 2018 and will run until November 8 this year. It seems the superstar is cooking up some hits amidst a busy schedule.

This isn't the nine-time Grammy winner's first time teasing her sixth album; she was even teasing her new work during her A Star Is Born press run. During the Critics' Choice Awards, she talked about how the momentous film, which earned her an Oscar win, will influence her upcoming releases.

"Absolutely, it [the film] will influence my future music," she said, according to Deadline. "But that’s not to say I haven’t already written some music, so it will be a mixture of both. But I’ve learned so very much and I hope that I will always be a student. I think that that is where you stop being a great artist when you start believing that there’s nothing left to learn. There is always something to learn and I always want to be a student and I think that’s how you master your craft, by learning and being a sponge."
