Fresh Berry Delicious cocktail

If you want to create a fresh and delicious cocktail, look no further than strawberries. These wonder fruits can be muddled, blended, cooked down into a syrup and otherwise transformed into drink-friendly ingredients. That fact is evident in the Strawberry Daiquiri and a host of other strawberry-influenced cocktails.

The red berry can be employed in a number of classics, but it’s also a great candidate for mixing up original creations, like the Fresh Berry Delicious, an aptly named cocktail from internationally acclaimed bartender and brand ambassador Charlotte Voisey.

To make this quaffable concoction, she begins with a few strawberries, naturally. Those are muddled and sweetened by a modest measure of honey syrup, which enhances the berry’s sweetness rather than overpowers it. But the berries don’t stop there. Voisey employs Stoli Razberi vodka as the base spirit, which adds a boozy berry backbone to the drink.

After that, the drink take a decidedly different turn. She adds a dash of Licor 43, a Spanish liqueur that features a proprietary blend of 43 ingredients, with a viscous mouthfeel and notes of vanilla, citrus and aromatic herbs and spices. Solerno blood orange liqueur lends a zesty, sweet orange note, and a heavy pour of fresh lemon juice tamps down the sweetness while amplifying the citrus. Put it all together, and you get a fresh and balanced cocktail that’s perfect for sipping during summer or enjoying all throughout strawberry season.
