Snake Cake

Surprise the birthday kid with a googly-eyed reptile made from marshmallow crispy treats—or, better yet, create one together!

Ingredients

1. Step 1Make marshmallow crispy treats and press into a greased 9-inch round springform pan.
2. Step 2When cool, cut a 4-inch circle (trace around a 28-ounce can) from the pan’s center. Cut outer circle in half. (Image 1, below.)
3. Step 3Separate and arrange into a curved snake, connecting the two macaroni-shaped pieces as shown (Image 2, below). Slice off sides of circle at slight angle to shape head.
4. Step 4Frost with icing and decorate: marshmallows and M&M’s for eyes, fruit leather for tongue, and more M&M’s for scales. Add crushed chocolate wafers for "dirt."
