This Audi Ur-Quattro got away, but there are more like it here.

This Audi Quattro S1 E2 rally car tribute is said to have been built on a 1984 Audi 80 chassis in Poland before being imported to the US by the late owner in 2021. The E2-style aerodynamic bodywork is finished in white with Audi Sport-style livery, and power is from a turbocharged 2.2-liter inline-five mated to a six-speed sequential transmission and an all-wheel drive system. Equipment includes KW V3 coilovers, Porsche brake components, a Fuel Safe fuel cell, Sparco racing seats, Sabelt harnesses, a roll cage, air conditioning, and a quick-release MOMO steering wheel. Recent service is said to have involved replacing the rear differential. This S1 E2 tribute is offered by the seller on behalf of the late owner’s estate in Maryland with import documents and a bill of sale.

The car was reportedly modified and fitted with a carbon-Kevlar E2-style body kit before being refinished in white under current ownership. Audi Sport-style livery resembling the 1985 Sanremo rally-winning S1 Quattro has been applied to the exterior, and additional features include a rear wing, a quick-release rear window, sliding side windows, Hella driving lights with covers, and mud flaps.

White 17″ five-spoke wheels are wrapped in 225/45 Toyo Proxes tires, and a spare is secured inside the cabin. Braking is handled by crossdrilled and ventilated front rotors along with red-finished Porsche calipers at all four corners. The car is fitted with KW V3 coilovers, and additional equipment reportedly includes reproduction A-arms and electric power steering.

The three-spoke MOMO steering wheel is equipped with a quick-release hub and sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a 200-km/h speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. Push-button start and toggle switches for vehicle functions are fitted, and a digital gear indicator is mounted above the center stack. The digital odometer indicates less than 700 kilometers (~400 miles), though total mileage is unknown.
