Travis "TJ" Royce Watson Jr. passed on May 10, 2023, at the age of 21 in a tragic car accident.
Travis was born in Pasadena, Texas on May 25, 2001, to parents, Travis and Edily Watson. When GOD made Travis, he constructed a person with character, honor and integrity. Travis was every parents dream as a son. Travis Jr. was loving, kind, admirable, funny, joyful and he had so much integrity and love for his family and fiancé. Travis had many dreams and goals in life that he was looking forward to accomplishing. Travis looked up to his father like no other and he wanted to be a family man just like him. His dream was to become a Sheriff Deputy with Harris County and he wished to complete his bachelor's degree in business administration. Travis also completed his Real Estate Course and was preparing to take the State Exam to become a Real Estate Agent with his mother. Travis Jr. (AKA, TJ) was employed with his father at Harris County Juvenile Justice Department - Seabrook, Texas location. Travis was a member of the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO) where he refereed football alongside his father for the past two years. He worked games with his father as the 8th man on Rudy Guerro's Crew and was integral part of the crew. Travis also worked alongside his father as a Basketball Referee and Baseball Umpire. Travis enjoyed umpiring Baseball for the League City Little League Organization and Friendswood Little League Organization where he made many friends including young baseball players who truly looked up to Travis.
Travis was engaged to wed the love of his life, Yoli Solano, on December 23, 2023. Travis and Yoli had very special love like no other. Travis was the joy and inspiration of his family and fiancé. A trip to Puerto Rico in the summer of 2022 with the entire family was classic with Travis proposing to his love, Yoli Solano, in front of his and her family in the native land of his mother and wife to be. Travis had the greatest time of his life on this trip. Travis would look forward to the Holidays when the family would make their way to "Hobby Lobby" and "At Home" and other decor stores to shop for the Holidays. Travis loved spending time with his family up until his death. Whenever Travis walked into a room, the lighting would feel challenged and had to upstage the brightness that Travis brought into the room by flickering. His smile was as big as his heart.
Travis's love for sports begins at the age of 4 years old. He actively participated in Baseball, Football and Basketball and his passion continued with Baseball up until last summer when Travis, decided that his arm just was not strong enough to compete at the next level due to an MCL tear that ended with Tommy John's Surgery. Travis's last pitch was a strike out that ended the game. Travis Attended and played Baseball and Football for Clear Brook High School and graduated in May of 2020. He also participated and played Select Baseball with the Houston Bengals, PBA Stars Baseball Academy, League City Chargers, Protege Baseball and Prodigy Baseball. Travis received numerous awards on the field including being selected to many All-Tournament Teams. He received offers to play on many college baseball programs and ended up choosing Mountainview College in Dallas, Texas where he played one season before the COVID crisis.
Travis is preceded in death by this grandparents, Louis and Gracie Watson and Santos Rivera Sr. Travis leaves behind the love of his life Yolie Solano, mother Edily Watson, Father Travis Royce Watson, Sr., grandmother, Aquilina "Milagro" Rivera, Alexis Watson (Sister), Avery Watson (Sister), Isaiah Mubirigi (Nephew), Anaya Mubirigi (Neice), and a host of uncles, aunties, cousins and many relatives and friends.
Until we meet again Son, we will continue to love you, honor you and cherish you every day, every hour, every second and every moment until we meet you again.

Travis's favorite color is red and because of that, the family is wishing for everyone to wear something red.
